Purpose in Prison
On January 11, 2015 I took the life of an innocent person. The first years of incarceration offered little, if any, real rehabilitation. The average cell block (housing area) was infested with drugs, hooch (homemade wine), gambling, and violence. Wanting change I signed up for Alcoholics Anonymous, classes in the chapel, and church. However these events lasted only an hour or two. Inevitably I found myself back in a war zone disguised as a prison dormitory or cell block. Chao
God’s Word brings restoration
Wayne, I wanted to thank you for allowing me to jump into BSF and Overcomers like you did. BSF especially has been a spiritual megaphone for Gods voice to reach me. I have been struggling with the exact same themes that the Babylonian rulers and Israelites did. My sin that brought me here has brought a LOT of shame and loss to my life. There were and still are (seldomly) days that grief and shame overcome my overall attitude and emotions. However, Just like Big Zeke (Ezekiel)
