Joseph’s Obedience to God

God is truly good, and His ways are often beyond our understanding. A few weeks ago, I gave a newly sober Christian man, Joseph, a wristband that said, Listen, Listen, Love, Love. Today, he shared an amazing testimony with me.

During a recent church service, Joseph felt prompted by the Holy Spirit to give his wristband to the man sitting in front of him—a complete stranger. Along with the wristband, God also urged Joseph to tell the man, “ God loves you.” Joseph hesitated, questioning, “Are You sure, God? I don’t know how he’ll react.” But he obeyed, tapped the man on the shoulder, and delivered the message.

The man turned to Joseph with tears streaming down his face and shared that he had just come off suicide watch, under constant direct observation (CDO). Deeply moved, Joseph shared the gospel with him, and the man accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior that day.

This testimony reminds us that even the simplest acts of obedience can have life—changing and eternal impact. God can use anything—even something as small as a wristband—to reach those who desperately need Him. Let’s never underestimate how He might use us to bring His love to others.
